What Is Endometriosis?
Endrometriosis. A scary word if you don’t understand the meaning. If you’re trying and struggling for a baby it’s definitely an important word for you to be able to recognize since infertility and endometriosis go hand in hand at times but what is endometriosis? Can endometriosis cause infertility? Endrometriosis is a condition where the lining of the uterus which is responsible for your monthly cycle, grows in other places such as the bladder, fallopian tubes or in the lining of the bowels. Entrometriosis is a common condition found in woman across the world and currently there is no cure for it.
Infertility And Endometriosis
Medication can help relieve pain during monthly cycles and surgery can be suggested when a patient has a severe case of the condition but overall endrometriosis is a condition that will not be cured. Yes, it does lead to infertility. If it is found to grow in the fallopian tubes, responsible for transporting the egg down to the uterus where it can be inseminated, there will be a blockage making it hardly possible for the egg to pass through easily.
